Roper Center receives 2008 CHOICE Outstanding Academic Title |

Choice calls us an OAT!
The Roper Center is delighted to announce that the iPOLL database has been named an Outstanding Academic Title by Choice, a publication of the Association of College and Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association. More than 7,000 titles were reviewed by Choice in 2008 and only 50 electronic resources were selected for inclusion on the OAT list for the year. The reviewer had this to say about the iPOLL database: "Simply put no other source allows this level of breadth, and depth of access. The Roper Center holdings are a unique treasure and worth the access fee for students, scholars, and practitioners." The Roper Center is honored to be noted by this esteemed organization and pledges a commitment to uphold the highest standards and best practices for the preservation of data and for providing access to the public opinion holdings in its archives. Its members have invested in this mission and deserve nothing less.
