RoperExplorer is an online data analysis system created exclusively for our members. To access RoperExplorer members simply sign in and conduct a search in iPOLL or Search for Datasets.

FAST DATA ANALYSIS

  • Instantly find out how various subgroups in the US population answered poll questions.
  • Generate crosstabs to find out how respondents answered one question also responded to another.

PROGRAMMING SKILLS ARE NOT REQUIRED

  • SPSS/PASW, SAS, Stata, etc. are not required to use this exploratory tool.
  • For basic exploratory data analysis, this tool permits researchers to spend less time on programming and more on analyzing what the data mean.
  • This web-based secondary analysis tool enables researchers to choose dependent and independent variables and quickly produce frequencies and crosstabulations.

  • Thousands of variables from more than 1400 studies conducted over the last decade in the United States.
  • Coverage of the collection is solid from 2005 to the most current archived studies.
  • Polls available in this form are from all major US polling organizations: Associated Press, Pew Research Center, Gallup, CNN, Kaiser Family Foundation, USA Today, ABC News and the Washington Post, NBC and the Wall Street Journal and others.
  • The 2008 National and States Exit Polls are available in RoperExplorer.

  • This service is available to individuals at member institutions who have signed in
